In the bible Jesus commissioned the Apostle Peter to “Take care of my sheep” (John 21:16). We believe this commission rests on the church today.

Pastoral care, or the aspect of looking after “the flock” is an integral part of Aberdeen Family Church. As part of a Lifegroup, Pastoral Care is available from Lifegroup leaders where an atmosphere of belonging to a group of people and being cared for by them can be experienced.

Pastor Mark Stone also spends time visiting and meeting people outside the church setting, in homes or over a coffee.

A visiting team also makes home visits and hospital visits to offer support and help at times of special need.

A prayer ministry team is also available to pray with you if required.

Releasing people from and healing hurts from the past is offered using recognised Christian Prayer Ministry. This is a series of intensive sessions with two people ministering to you in a private and personal setting.
